Compare Costs
When considering Multipure vs. the "cheaper" or hardware- store type filter, consider what you would feel best with. For me having the "cheap" deal for something I will be using everyday for the rest of my life, just doesn't feel as good or clean. Also, for me it seems it is telling me my health is not as valuable to me, perhaps, as it really ought to be.
*none of these can compare to the contaminant reductions Multipure is NSF certified for. **
Multipure has a Lifetime Warranty, a rarity.
If you factor that cost in the savings result is way better than what's shared here.
Distributor Price Promise:
Its unlikely you'll find a lower price for your Multipure* than what we offer,
but if you do, we'll match that price. * Company regulations keep prices competitive,

Here's a simple Cost and Efficiency comparison-- Multi Pure vs. Brita and "lower- cost" filtration-- The actual cost shows MultiPure at 9 - 11 cents a gallon Brita costs up to 20 cents a gallon -- !6- 25 cents a gallon is similar to costs of many filters in the stores* ![]() Multipure is the more permanent solution-- Because its Lifetime warranted, it beats the costs of just about everything else. And that's not even in the above equations! Multipure-- a "Forever Solution" for health & better Drinking Water!
______________________________________________________ Aquasana - Multi Pure Comparisons-- 2017 Update--
It looks like the more high quality Aquasanas now have a good contaminant reduction list, often certified by NSF, so that’s great! Main Differences between MulitPure and Aquasana-- The Warrantee. The Aquasana is only warranted for 1 year next to Multipure's Lifetime Warantee (side by side, they appear substantially less sturdy in construction than the Multipure products. Operating Costs? -- Some of the Aquasana sites say the operating costs are almost as low as Multipure's or even lower, but I don’t see it-- their filters cost as much as Multipures and only last 6 months. Flow Rate? Some of the Aquasanas have a very slow flow rate, so check on that if you don’t want to wait for your drinking water! |
MultiPure and Berkey
Both of these use solid carbon block. I don't know much about berkey's testing but I do know that it requires actually putting gallons in a quite large system and it takes quite a while to get the finished filtered water.

For Life??-- Really ??!!
Knowing the water contaminant situation and the filter industry it seems that you will be pretty much set for life with this one purchase. If new categories of contaminants appear, we will still need this carbon block filtration, although something else may also need to be added to your original Multipure unit.

Ralph Nader's study found 2110 contaminants in drinking water, The EPA regulates only 85. * (as none may know the cost of this).
You can drink great, water for the next 20, 40 years (or more) --
or skimp and scrimp, paying more as your body filters out the nasties from your water that you're drinking-- Why not go sustainable & choose Multipure today??! SAVE even more MONEY – One way to lower costs is to get a capacity monitor on your filter, which tells you how much water you’ve actually used so you need not change the filter so often. Some of the Aquasanas may have this. Mutipure has an under- counter unit the comes with a Capacity Monitor Kit (MP1200EL), increasing the filter capacity to 1200 gallons.
