Some of our most unhealthy habits have nothing to do with what you eat or how you move your body -- or don't ! They are habits of the mind that bring us down. These can end up affecting our bodies in some very profound ways. A habit that is most healthy and helpful to our health is our own self- kindness in the words we say to ourselves. We do well and live well when we are being self- encouraging, rather than self- discouraging.

Giving ourselves Healthy Credit for our gains and tries and trials is a major key to health success. When we do it, we should give ourselves a golden star for striving, healing and growing towards our health.

One of the biggest obstacles to success is discouragement.
Our minds may tell us just to give up, and that may seem easier, but in the end it costs too much!
95% of us fail at something, and we will also never meet the mark we set too high. but mistakes and failing are meant to be a stepping- stone to learning. we learn what NOT to do next time.
Discouragement that comes from our self- created voices is a most Unhealthy Habit. The inner voices that berate us when we fail to meet the healthy goals we set will kill us fast. That failure is the most human thing ever. It is also a necessary trial that will help us to achieve our goals-- IF we do not stop trying. When we learn to be humane in dealing with our shortfalls, we can begin to learn and see that going for our health-- or anything-- can be great fun when you give yourself time, support and encouragement in a very kindly way.
